Hello! My name is Diana Flair. Thank you for being interested in my program. I’ve been teaching, caring for, and loving children for over 25 years! I’m a proud mom to three great kids. My daughter Katie is married and lives here in the Omaha area. She has blessed me with two furry four legged “granddogs”. My son Luke is a senior at UNO and busy juggling work and school. My youngest son Andrew attends Millard North High School and works at Scheel’s and loves to go fishing. Now that my children are older I’m able to do more of my favorite hobbies. I enjoy scrapbooking, reading, listening to country music, cooking, baking and of course working on my preschool activities.
Monday – Friday 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Children have a special place in my heart and I have one of the most significant jobs in the world. I’m teaching and caring for the most precious person in a parent’s life, their child. I know that the first few years of a child’s life are vital. I strive to provide a loving, educational, child oriented environment which stimulates their physical, intellectual, emotional, and social development. I like to work with parents, as partners, to make Ms. Diana’s Learning Ladder the best place for the child to learn and thrive! I know that I’m doing my job well when the children are happy to come to my home ready to learn as they play. That is my main goal, happy, healthy, and smart kids!
My Experience, Training and History
I attended Des Moines Area Community College and studied Early Childhood Education and Development. I completed The Early Childhood Care and Education Management Training Program offered by Family Service & The Early Childhood Training Center. I participated in the High/Scope Pre-School Curriculum training sponsored by The Early Childhood Training Center. I’m certified in Adult/Infant CPR and First Aid and I renew my qualifications every two years. As required by the State of Nebraska, I obtain a minimum of 12 clock hours of in-service Early Childhood Education training annually. I’ve previously taught pre-school for the University of Nebraska and also at Happy Face Preschool. I was nominated, by one of my child care families, for Outstanding Child Care Provider of the Year. I’m pleased to announce that I was one of the winners!
Early Learning Program
I provide a quality, full time preschool program from August through May. The most important goal of my preschool program is to help children become enthusiastic learners. I do this by encouraging the children to be active and creative explorers who are not afraid to think their own thoughts. It is my desire to help children become independent and self-confident learners. The activities I plan for the children, the way I organize the learning environment, select quality toys and materials, plan the daily schedule, and talk to the children, are all designed to accomplish the goals of my curriculum and gives your child a successful start to school.

I love teaching preschool and working from home. This is the perfect career for me! Since I care for teacher’s children only I’m able to enjoy the extra time off to relax and rejuvenate. That is important when working with children. A healthy provider/teacher makes for happier children. I look forward to you calling and setting up an interview.
