DAYCARE MOVING TO GRETNA!! No future openings for 2018.
Contact: Mindy Jones at firstname.lastname@example.org
I have been married for 20 years and have two children ages 19 and 16. I enjoy reading books, watching and playing sports and spending time with my family and friends. In my home I have created a warm, comfortable and safe setting for young children. Mindy’s lil’ Munchkins has been built around love, respect and friendship. The parents and children become a large extended family spending many years supporting one another through the good times and the challenging times of raising young children.
As a family child care provider, my goal is to provide a safe and happy environment for each child that will stimulate their physical, intellectual, social and emotional growth at their own pace. I offer loving care that focuses on each child as a unique and wonderful individual. Mindy’s lil’ Munchkins is centered on play and the natural curiosity and energy of young children. I strive to provide children with a loving environment where they can learn to socialize through play and having lots of fun. It is my privilege to help the children learn life skills such as manners, honesty, sharing, kindness, friendship and respect.
I have cared for the children of family and friends for over 30 years and have been licensed through the State of Nebraska since March of 2003. I am CPR and First Aid certified and every year I take over 12 hours of early childhood classes. I also have an Associate’s Degree in Business.
Early Learning Program
Through my informal preschool program for all ages, children are exposed to many kinds of learning experiences including; circle time, calendar, story and listening adventures, music and finger play, numbers and counting, letter, shape and color recognition, puzzles and educational games, arts and crafts, and social development.
My Mom, Grandma Stone, visits often and is my substitute when necessary.
Policies & Information for Enrollment
Please email me to set up an interview. The Policy Handbook will be forwarded for your review prior to the interview so the interview process can be focused on getting to know each other and answering any remaining questions.
I am licensed through the State of Nebraska and receive an unannounced visit a minimum of one time a year. To meet nutritional guidelines, I am a member of Midwest Child Care Association and receive 4 visits a year from my area representative. I also am a member of Millard Area Providers Support Group for daycare providers.
We could not have found a better environment for our daughter! In the five years she spent with Mindy, I never worried a day! She was always well taken care of and even better, I knew she was loved! Our daughter absolutely loved going there every day and even pays a visit every now and then just to get another minute with Mindy! If you are looking for more than just a daycare provider, you won’t be disappointed! ~Shelly
